Between Medford and Grants Pass
Dust control for Gold Hill and Rogue River
Gold Hill and Rogue River sit between our base in Medford and Grants Pass, and we treat driveways, rural drives and shared roads along the way. The weather sits between the two stations: Medford's 18.43 inches a year and Grants Pass's 31.31.12
River gravel country
Ground the river laid down.
Gold Hill's own history describes how "the Rogue enters the Bear Creek Valley in the Agate Desert, an arid region covered by massive deposits of river gravel."4 The town traces its start to the "discovery of gold on 'Big Bar' on the Rogue River".4
Tell us what your road is: gravel, dirt, or some of each. Lignin is especially good on roads with more dirt and sand.
The job here
What's different about dust control here.
Who maintains your road here
On a county gravel road?
-
County-maintained gravel
It can go through the county's dust abatement program, and the county prepares its sections at no cost. Ask Jackson County Roads how it works, or call us.5
-
Local access
A public road the county never accepted. It is the residents' to keep up.67
-
Private
Driveways and shared drives belong to the people on them.
Jackson County Roads, (541) 774‑8184, can tell you which yours is.6
