The product
Plant-based lignin.
We spray one product on every road, driveway and lot: a 100% organic, plant-based lignin sulfonate. Here is what it is and how it works.
- What it is
- Lignin comes from the fibers in trees. Lignin sulfonate is a by-product of wood pulping: 100% organic and plant-based.
- How it holds the road
- It binds the loose particles on the road surface, so they stay down instead of lifting into dust behind every car.
- What the sun does
- As the sun heats it, part of it becomes insoluble and forms a layer that resists water and dust.
- Where it works best
- Especially good on roads with more dirt and sand in them. Tell us what your road is made of when you call.

We pre-wet the road
A pass of water goes down first, so the lignin goes onto a damp surface.

We spray. You drive on it.
The truck sprays the lignin and you can drive on it right away.
After we spray
No closing the road.
You don't have to keep cars off it or wait days. The surface goes dark and settled, and the dust stays down.

Safety, per the product
Animals, gardens, people.
What we spray is lignin sulfonate. The product is described as safe for animals, plants and people, non-corrosive and non-toxic. Lignin is also used in cattle feed and crop fertilizers.
